Been a not very active member on here since the early days when I bought my first new car, a '00 ZX3. After a couple of years, it turned into this:

It made something like 160whp but wasn't fast enough so I traded to a WRX.
Throughout the years and numerous project cars, I got Focus number 2 as a beater for $200 when it got traded into the dealer where I work.

It ran great until it dropped a valve seat and ate a piston, hah.
Focus number 3 needed to redeem the last one so I ordered myself a Performance Blue ST2 with smoke storm Recaros.
We all know what they look like stock but here are some pics throughout the time of pick up until now.

It's also running a Cobb stage 2 setup so the power is great.

Beautiful car Rob! How hard were the vents? I'm still floating that idea for the Fiesta...

Interested in the wheels also. Love this car looks great!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the compliments.
The wheels are 18x8.5 +38 ATS Racelights. I paid a mint for having them shipped from the UK but I think it was worth it. Originally wanted them in try but ATS didn't have any in stock and wouldn't know when they'd be making them again so I opted for silver instead.

In regards to the vents, I'd say they were simple but I didn't do any of the work. I bought a set of 2014 Mustang GT vents and had my buddy shorten them and cut the holes for me. He did them in his car too so he knew what to expect.
They are an amazing wheel. The Silver finish makes them pop. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do mine. Lucky for me, I got mine from a guy down the road. :D

Have you had any issues with the retrofit? Who did it?

A buddy of mine did it. The only thing that was a little funky was that, when flicking from highs to lows, the driver headlight would flicker a couple of times but a resistor fixed that. No problems in regards to warning lights or anything along those lines.

I do like them a lot. It would have been nice if I found mine locally instead of having to order from Europe. I like that they're unique though.

Rob, could you snap a pic of the underside of the hood vents pls? I'm curious how they are mounted.
They're in there and not coming out, haha. Some sort of super epoxy was used.

Very cool sir! That black epoxy looks familiar...

That under structure looks very different than the fiesta's.

He could do more and have quite the business on his hands. Lol just saying. If you don't mind divulging the cost and sources for parts I would appreciate it.

He would definitely do more if there was interest. The only problem is he wouldn't be able to install them unless the buyer was local.
The vents new from Ford are something like 250-275 and then it was another 300 for modding, paint, and install. Not cheap but I haven't seen another car outside of SEMA that has them.
