Not sure where this would go under so I'm guessing here is the right spot. I spotted a 2004 roush focus for sale (not sure if its a real one or not due to only one pic) and I was wondering does anybody have info on a true roush focus? Performance, handling, a decent price for one, should I consider it etc.

check drivers door on body, should have roush sticker says built by roush blah blah... I believe up to 05 they offered roush struts and brake rotors. performance would be stock unless it had the roush exhaust.
consider...... they are rare. if it has roush wheels in good condition be carefull as they were discontiinued along timre ago and are hard to find. if it has roush bumpers dont hit anything since you cannot buy those either ... lol
anything roush focus has been discontinued. but I would love to see it, I bought a brand new 2006 sonic blue roush focus every option available off dealer showroom. I sold it around 2 years ago with 21k miles for 12,500.

Thats a retarded price. No chance in hell I would pay that for an 04....expecially a zx3 with a body kit. You cant even sell an 04 SVT for that much.

If you are just looking for a focus, Ill be selling my 02 black SVT in about 2-3 weeks for half of what whatever con-artist is trying to get 8800 for that roush.

125,000 miles. New Timing belt, new water pump, new clutch, new inspection. perfect compression. I'll be listing it for 4500 here shortly once i take care of a few things that i still need the car for. I have pics if your interested.

They only have a pic up online. Called to see if they had any others and the guy I talked to didn't know much about the car but said they have someone come in and take on side pic of the car. I hate to go an hour out of my way to find its crap ya know. Its happened before. Ha he said well I can go look for whatever your looking for on it ... I chuckled under my breath.

The Roush Focus has the 2.3 Dtec, no? 10x better platform than a SVT Zetec.. you start with 20 less hp but have twice the reliability and half the maintenance. Suspension for these cars is cheap. People usually end up upgrading the SVT's stuff too, so you'd be the same amount in on suspension anyway. Brakes are all-around disc--probably not as large as the SVT, but a Focus really does not need that much braking power. I think if you like the car, you'll pay what you want to get it for.

I own a 2007 ZX3 with the full Roush kit. From what I've been able to find on the web is this: the authentic pre-2005 ones were 2.3L's, and had springs/shocks, and rims. However, depending on the stage, some things were optional. For example: A Stage 1 only came with the front facia, hood scoop, rear wing, gauge cluster, and exhaust. Everything else fell under a Stage 2, which had: front facia, hood scoop, side skirts, rear bumper, rear wing, exhaust, gauge cluster, and STS.

Again, this all could be wrong, but after trying to find out more about them, this is what I was able to piece together. As far as price goes, I paid $9K for mine with 36K on it last year, and mine has the front facia, hood scoop, side skirts, rear bumper, rear wing, and exhaust. So I'd say that price is pretty steep. And my friend bought his SVTF for $6500 with 92K on it, and that was even a little steep.

As an owner of a 2004 Roush focus, let me just say that those things are EXTREMELY rare. They made less than 100 in 2004, with 3 classes, Stage 1, Stage 2, and Rally. I own a Rally edition, there were only 9 made that year. I have the numbers back in America. If this guy is still selling it, I would be VERY interested in buying it flat out, just not for that much money. IDK if this is a dead thread or not, but please just let me know.

in 06 they only made rally and stage 1. Mine was a stage 1 , and they only made 14 stage 1's in 06. I had the only sonic blue one made that year. so they just made even fewer every year.lool

It really pisses me off that Roush no longer makes parts for these, as back in 2008 some douchenozzle backed his team leader's truck up and over my front end. The body shop that repaired my car replaced the front bumper and hood with a stock bumper and discarded my hood scoop. I really wasn't to pissed about the hood scoop, as it was fake, but the front bumper was no longer in production. Now, I try to troll craigslist and ebay looking for a Roush that was totaled out from the rear. Yeah, it doesn't work out when there were probably less than 500 made total and then trying to find them undamaged in the front. If anyone has leads, I would be willing to buy a whole car just to pilfer, lol.

Mine's not real, but it had every Roush body option, sans the midwing (but has the exhaust). Dealership did it because it was the last 07 they had on the lot, and Roush was clearancing everything they had.

If you want my hood scoop, you can have mine. However, it's red and still on the car.

Haha! Thanks, I like it a lot. However, I'm trying to De-Roush-Rice it a bit. If you check out my FR13 build thread in Rigz, you can see what I'm trying to get it to look like.
