Rubber Block for springs?

408 Views 9 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  firstonraceday
I bought some rubber blocks to help eliminate the weight transfer back when i launch. I tried to put them in at the strip but with the springs unloaded they still wouldn't fit in! I know ult has them...how the hell do they get in there??

Yeah he got a hold of me. Thanks Ryan
I'm curious as how this will work out. I've been reading a book on suspension tuning, and its stated that body roll occurs because of weight transfer, and not the other way around (weight transfer because of body roll).

Or, maybe they are only taking about lateral weight transfer....

Let me know how this works out.

apr 03 (nothing)
may 03 (4 blocks, 1in position)
jun 03 (8 blocks, 1in position)

wed nite (no video, but 8blocks, 1.5in position w/p51 shims, oh my.....the ass was not budgin, now i have to change my launch tactics b/c the front tires are not unloadin their weight onto the back like b4.)

i'll get pix, i have to go back out and figure out my brake issue (long pedal after pads/rotors, shouldnt have to bleed in that situation, but prolly will have to).

pic time!

enjoy (thats when their in the 1.5in position). 1in can be used if space between aftermarket or SVT coils is tighter.
