I was watching Hi-Rev TV on the speed channel and they had that rwd focus with the JR equipped zetec in the trunk. My question is what supercharger are they running to get 12psi and 287hp if I remeber correctly. That thing is pretty sweet. They said it took 45 months to complete. CRAZY.

Hey guys,
I thought you guys might need answers to a few questions so I thought i'd pass by. So, here goes, yes it was our car on hi-rev tuners, we used a smaller pulley that we made (among other things) to get the regular 45 cubic inch JR supercharger to 14 psi. And even though we did spend around a year before hand planning the whole project out it took us 4 to 5 months for the actual building of the car not 45 (I guess I should have spoken a little more clearly on the show).

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">I want to know how you got 14 psi out of the M45-based JRSC! Isn't heat an issue? Did it involve a larger crank pulley? That's a LOT of boost for that unit!

that turbo was probably glowing like a turbo at full boost...

no way can that be efficient, it was probably shooting steam into the engine, i dont see how a M45 can make 280hp, i just dont see it possible...what was the WHP really?

sorry naz. i know you prolly meant that the blower was glowing like a turbo, but hey, i couldnt resist...
