Most mainstream vehicles have at least one mechanical twin, if not many.

*Camry & Camry Solara
*Avalon (stretched camry)
*Lexus ES300
*Sienna (built on the same assembly line as camry using many camry parts)
*Highlander (mini-van based cross-over SUV)
*Lexus RX300/RX330

if its GM... then its not original.

Actually... its pathetic how much they just take a car, tweak it a tiny bit... slap a different logo on it and sell it at a higher price. Sad really.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Why? The Neon chassis is quite good.... and the PT is extensively modified... and you can't buy the 2.4L N/A motor in a Neon.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">The Epsilon platform is new. Designed by Opel (GM Germany) and first comming out in the Opel Vectra and Saab 9-3. In the future, the Chevrolet Malibu, Pontiac Grand Am and Saturn L will also use the Epsilon platform. Since the Epsilon was designed in europe (like the focus) it may be a very good platform.

Currently Chevrolet Malibu, Oldsmobile Alero and Pontiac Grand Am use the home grown N-Body platform.
