that roush one makes the focus st a fair bit less appealing. it falls in line with what i need in a car, since i dont do any super big track days (so i wont need the st,s power)
plus my preference to blowers over turbocharging (simpler, eaiser to maintain and keep track of) if this car gets produced i will gladly fork out the money for something like that. in my eyes its jsut about perfect. (could use moar low though...)

AND Thanks for some engine shots!

Actually, PowerWorks had one in 2005. Additionally, you have to remember this isn't the same car nor engine as the previous iterations....There may be more room in the engine bay for a blower now.

lol it would make for an easy twin charge setup if roush ever sold the kit to the aftermarket...

It would be interesting for someone to twin charge an ST...

The TVS screw type promises to be very effiecent... much more than the outgoing m45 m62

i took roushes little survey for the 2012 focus work. (i was doing some more digging on that bad boy, they are saying roughly 230 hp, and 210 tq. but i dont know if its at the wheels) if i can find it i'll link it here, after all if more people respond positively it'll really show roush that we want it.

I like the look of the ROUSH kit and can voucher for their work on mustangs. If the quality is the same then this will be a great upgrade. Especially if offered a la carte .... suspension and blower without the body kit on a SE = SLEEPER.
Personally I'd just dress up a SEL to give the DD more 'style'.
I cringe at the price point for a S3 FOCUS. But, these are all great alternatives. But until the ST comes out I'll keep my money.

Wow, these Foci are seriously impressive. They look awesome. I'll take the Roush one, but painted like the green one. Sexy. Can't wait to see a couple of these tuners get their hands on the ST!

I have seen the pic of the powerworks kit before and Im pretty sure that it never made it out of the prototype stage. I knew of the Cosworth MX-5 kit as well, but like you said, not worth the time to make it work. Now, looking at the Powerworks and the Roush kits, look how complex of a package the PW looks compaired to how simple the Roush kit is.

The biggest reason that the Powerworks kit didn't go anywhere was the failure of the Zetec kit.

Powerworks only recouped about 50% of the money that went into developing that kit.... negative profits don't keep the doors open long.

I think the most impressive thing to note is the offset on these wheels, we have never been able to fit dish like that on any current model focus without lots of money in work. I think this new generation will have some awesome looking stances. As much as I want one however I cant justify getting rid of my 00' that runs just fine, I guess i'll keep it forever and just buy the 32 ford I want instead.
