I know many get custom hood, body kit, etc, but how do you ship these things?

Is it possible to even ship them for a reasonable cost unless the shipper has a contract freight courier?

I was trying to get a bumper shipped from CA to OR and 6' x 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 exceeds what's allowed by FedEx or UPS and the package size was just at the limit, it would cost around $200.

Yeah greyhound I believe has a 7 foot limit, I shipped a bumper from OH to IL for $45 and when I got my euro bumper shipped from CA to OH it was $60 so they seem to be reasonable with shipping prices.

Yup, bumper covers go Greyhound out of our warehouse.

Truck lines are used for anything larger like hoods, quarter panels, roof skins etc.

Truck lines do cost more but if you do decent volume you get decent discounts.

Thanks guys!!
I'm gonna arrange to have a bumper cover shipped from California to Oregon. It's only gonna be like $50.

It's fortunate that we're both close to Grey Hound stations.
Unfortunately, if you're not near a Greyhound bus station, this is not an option.

But fortunately there are Greyhound stations nearly everywhere.

Besides, for the savings on shipping it'd be worth a bit of a drive to pick something up even if it's a bit out of the way.
