Anyone know of any companys that have a Show car type insurance? Something for a custom car that has a lot of money invested in it, isnt driven much, and is in Chicago. Any info would help.
Most any will issue a rider on any aftermarket parts... but they usually cost an arm and a leg.
Sometimes its called "classic coverage" like for older cars that blue book is $500 but when your car is worth $25K (I've looked into it for classic mustangs... muy expensive!)
Teh WW car has a "Custom Car" policy for $21k replacement, which I'm probably going to reduce. The idea was to be able to build a similar (or better) car if this one got balled up or went AWOL.
I'm paying about $375 every six months, and I'm limited to 7500 miles a year.
