Our Budget rent a car has a red one in greenwood. I think it is horrible. I don't like it at all. I always rev on it when I drive by. I know no one is in the other car. My car may be slower but it is much much prettier.

I'm driving to work and I see this ugly ass car in front of me. I didn't know what it was until I got a little closer. 2005 Ford Focus ZX4. Disgusting little thing. I got into the right lane to get a glimpse of the front, the lady in the car looked over and I was disgusted. I got in front of her and looked into my rear view mirror. The only thing I like about the front is the grill. It was just a horrible sight. I can't believe the Focus transformed into an ugly square. Damn you Ford

i actually half like the redesign. im happy i have a 2002, but i don't mind the new one. what do i care, i already have the kind i like. its not like i was gonna buy another focus.

The interior is equally as [censored], looks like it took a step back 10 years.

Its just a [censored] redesign to further delay the new focus..there is nothing new about this other than a crappy looking body.

I like the rear end the ost on the car, but the whole car is horrible looking!

The front end reminds me of a Jetta and the interior lost it's Detroit Techno flare.

Now the interior lookes square and to executive.

What are they trying to do? They are looking a target audience with the new redesign.

 

The interior design is the new Ford Europe design. It is found in the New Fiesta and the Fusion as well as some items in the C-Max. Just like you see the dash from the New Mondeo in the new Ford F150 trucks.

 

I don't know Soybean if you were to drop it,tint,rims,and exhaust I think that it would look pretty tight.Maybe even some body mods to spruce her up.

Hell that treatment can make any plain car look alright..IMO.

You're right about that, but since the new Focus lacks aftermarket parts right now, it's just an ugly square.

 

Well I own one.. I am amazed at you people...Its still a focus and still represents all the others...I cant belive you bash it so much...Exactly whats wrong with it....No one ever mentioned anyhting accept the rear end which is minorly diffrentr from the older models....So tell me whats so wrong???? Im pissed beyond belief at you people you sound like asses you are self hating focus lovers what the hell! Gee i hate focuses even though i drive one...You all sound like idiots...Well here how bout htis i dont like the goofey look of the sedan and how it looks fat and bloughted from the side or the LX because its disgusting with all of its black trim every where or the SE and the LX for the Gay split port engine and the crappy cloth interior with non bolistered seats and the stupid look of the 00-01 shift knob(on the 5 spds) or the stupid auto tranny handle and for the ZX3 the fact that it looks like a civic SI and the fact that the Zetec with the airconditioning on goes faster when pushed...or the fact that the stupid dashboard looks like a nike swoosh or the cappy plastic iused in all previose generations of focuses and the gaps wider thanj the grand canyon on budy panels or the stupid three peice wing kit on the ZX3 and as for wagons they dont suck that much besides the bring and drab interior seats and the lackingof good seat aptterns...gee i guess there is alot to complian about the older focus...and by the way if i saw any of you on the road and you gave me the finger cuz i drive and like my ST id probobnly get your tag number and then get some people in high places to make your life a living hell. I love my new focus my ST is great it has leather seats with good big bolisters..the shift knob has red stiching on it...i have steering wheel mounted controls and a great sterio...it has a 2.3 which doesnt suck when the air is on and the interior is much queiter than the old focuses...the sunroof is quiter and gives the interior a bigger feel the dash is well fit with no big gaps or incosistency...the materials are honda like the dash feels like a VW and the seats comfy like a lexus..the suspention and ride/handaling is wonderfull being able to take turns quickly and flat and the smothness on the highway..not to mention the speed sensitive wipers which slow down when you are at a traffic light...the exterior i love with its euro look on the front of a ford Modeo and the rear i like more with the chrome tipped muffler and the valance underneath and the new spoiler...the rims are large and there specific to my St so not evry focus in the world will have one...I like my 05 St as you can see..I do agree that the Zx3 should have been left alone because the front is a little to out of prtoportion to the rear but hey id dint designit and until i do im not gunna be a whiner...

We have the right to voice our opinions. If I wanted to give the finger to the 05 Focus I saw, I would have, I still respect that it's a Focus, but it's not the Focus that made it a Focus. Congrats on the new ride, how come you haven't posted pics in Team Rigz yet. I think you're the first to own one!
