So i wrecked my car

i was pulling out of my apt complex and a white truck was pulling in and as im pulling out this red 4 runner comes speeding around the white truck like to go around him and i hit him on his rear right quarter panel and he flipped. he was okay though..i got the ticket for failure to yield right of way.

my bumper was way down the road my headlight was like off in the woods somewhere my radiator was hanging on by a single tube and leaking everywhere my passenger door wouldnt open.
strangly enough other than scratches along the front, my carbon fiber hood is in perfect shape, nothing wrong. haha it was still latched.

so i dont know whats gonna happen now..insurance should be coming by sometime in the next couple days to look at it.
if everything's okay im taking advantage of this new bumper opportunity. but we will see..could be totalled which would be quite bad since i owe 6 thousand and its only worth like 3.

after seeing her in the daylight...i am fairly certain she's totalled. but i can pray.

so many amazing memories in her.
i couldnt have asked for a better car

yeah there is no way i am going to let the insurance co. take the slipstreams with them. fk that...ill break in in the middle of the night if i have to, lol.

Man Glad ur ok dude. I think that is fixable, but it depends how much the insurance wants to pay. Good luck, keep us informed.

That's why you should've gotten GAP insurance...especially for the focus. We all know that the focus isn't worth the money we owe on as soon as we drive it off the lot. Sorry to hear about your baby... I think your right though, the insurance company will total it.

That's why you should've gotten GAP insurance...especially for the focus. We all know that the focus isn't worth the money we owe on as soon as we drive it off the lot. Sorry to hear about your baby... I think your right though, the insurance company will total it.

Yea, Albert didn't have that insurance either when he wrecked the Focus, so we're (well his Grandma is) still paying for the damn car 2 years later.

thanks you guys. well they towed it to hillcrest ford this afternoon so i should be hearing from the adjuster tomorrow after he takes a look at it.

Potentially good news!

ok so they totalled it out. they let me get anything i could off of it in 4 hours because they were coming to get it. i was able to get my wheels, intake, throttle body and system out. i had to leave the suspension and exhaust...only because i didnt have time to get it..i tried so hard on that exhaust but i had no lube to get the hangers out of them damn rubber stoppers, i destroyed my fingers lol.

BUT.... good news is they gave me $8,600 for the car and i only owed 5,700 on it. i may have a lil somethin somethin in the works going on but ima keep it a secret for now. ill keep u updated tho.

Damn that's alot...$8,600! Dude what year was your Focus? Mine's an 01' and it's only worth like $4,000-$5,000, How'd you pull that off?

I got $8600 for my '01 S2 (after fighting tooth and nail w/ the insurance company) last Jan. and it had 41K on it.
