I get that all the time. I've had one guy straight up start argueing with me because I called it blue

I love the purpleish look to it though. I saw a '93 mustang a few years ago with the same color of paint and liked it ever since.

I get told that im drivin a purple car but it looks blue for the most part i kinda think its cool almost reminds me of the mystic paint they used on the cobra...it give the car that lil extra character...kinda represents the car very well...its like split personalities... kinda like the car.. it can be just a focus or when pushed it changes and can hold its grounds against many more expensive cars...well at least in handling, not straight line...does this make sense??

it is more purple than blue than I thought mine would be before I got it but I have received so many compliments and comments on the color I quickly got over it and like it a lot. It is a unique color, for sure.

I love the Sonic Blue. When the Sun is low on the Horizon, it has a Purple Haze to it, very cool. At mid day, I think it is the nicest Blue I've ever seen. I have a Neighbor with a Sonic Blue Ranger Tremor, and it looks great too!

Has anyone else noticed all the blue cars lately?

It all depends on the light and the angle you are looking at it. I was rather upset when I got home and noticed how purple the car looked in certain lights, I wanted a blue car, not a purple one. But this undercoat is what provides the nice blue in the sun, so you got to live with it. I had an NX2000 that was a similar color, but they used mica and pearl chips at an extremely high cost to get the color to look that way without the purple.

I saw a 2003 Cobra in Sonic blue about a month ago on the Parkway around 6PM and I could have swore to god that the damn thing had an Aura around it...had this really where glow to it that I've never seen before!

Well...I think at night, it does look a little purple...My friend's father called it a jellybean the first time he saw it...maybe he was just hungry

Looks great IMO.

It looks purple when you're looking at a panel at roughly the same angle that the light is hitting it.

One of the first leaks I read about the SVTF mentioned a cool, new color, "Sonic Blue". I love Black, but I made my color decision on that comment, and worried for months, but have never seen a better paint on any car. IMHO.

What are you laughing about? Red is the SLOWEST color... everyone knows that red means stop.

Actually, if you are at a dragstrip and the light turns red... red means go... it's confusing, but true.

I knew it! The mall is to the north and I can fly there most ricky-tick. But my office is to the west...

BTW, Silver is faster than the other colors because it blends in with all the other rental Foci, causing fewer police stops.
