I have a head package that has raised my compression to 11.15:1 from the stock Focus 9.6:1. I was looking around on websites for people who had asked the same question, and this is something that I found.

"Those with modified engines must remember that a modified engine with higher compression or forced induction will typically require a smaller gap settings (to ensure ignitability in these denser air/fuel mixtures). As a rule, the more power you are making, the smaller the gap you will need."

So with the stock gap being .050, what do you think I should take the gap down to?

I have stock compression for now, but the pistons are goin in soon. I've been running a smaller gap than usual on cold copper plugs for the nitrous. I'm currently gapped at 35. Smaller gap and 96 octane work nicely when sprayin a 75 shot. I have no idea what gap I'll use when the comp goes up.
