Like the title say's, it's sure quiet around here lately. I'm reading the posts every day and sometimes even post a word or two. On the SR forums no-one seems to have much to say except for Beth and the others who know me from CFL, and the CFL forum has quieted down to much less than a silent roar. What's up folks, are we gonna let this family just die as grapes on a vine turning into rasins? We miss all of you in cfl but as time goes on changes happen, but the only changes for us is our location. I was just showing my sister Cheryl some of the pix from our many g2g's and I find it hard to beieive how many of us have remained friends / family through all of the changes, let's not make this change screw it all up. I'm here. I've been spending the last few weeks looking at getting rid of the truck. Over $200/mo in gas is absolutely killing my already thin budget.

Thats out of the question as dealers are only willing to offer me around $13,000 for it. That includes Nissan dealers! Bluebook on it is friggin $18,000. WTF? :rant:

I was test driving an '05 Cooper S last night night. Leather, Harmon Kardon audio, glass roof. I was in love right up until they offered me 13k for the truck. Bastids.

this is why you bring the print out from kbb with you and a print out of how much the 05 mini would have cost you as well so they don't **** with ya. cuz you know they will.

I tried dude. They were all bout the black book numbers and they said that brand new '07s with similar specs are selling for 16k. the bad thing is, they were the second dealer to only offer me 13k.

Yeah, dealers suck cause they don't use kbb or NADA for trades. They use only that damn black book which only dealers have access to. The black book really down plays the trade in value. But when they want to sell you something they use the NADA and kbb.
