I would love to put an exedy clutch in my SVTF.

 

im looking for one now and wish it was availible. so a yes from me... in about 4 years when the one i buy now burns out.

 

I think its a great idea, but; I just had my clutch done this week again. So next year this time all need another one.

Yeah, I am interested... I don't want anything too overly aggressive, just something performance oriented, yet good enough for the daily driver (would that be stg. 1?). I just turned 40k on the original clutch, and it is going strong so far... thinking another 10-20k before I need to do this.

 

i would definately buy an exedy for my svt. probably be awhile though.

i'm not impressed with my brothers clutchmaster. his svt has had more problems with it than i care to remember. hes finally back to stock, lol.

 

Im in need of one within the next few months. So count me in depending on the production window.

 

I would like to see what you could offer compared to Spec. I do alot of these clutches and would like more variety.

Sure so long as the kit is easier to order correctly than the one from Ford...."oops we sent mismatched clutch disc kit to your flywheel".

 

I can see looking into getting a conventional flywheel/clutch conversion to hold a little more power in the future, especially if my car gets a blower. By "Stage 1" and "Stage 2" I looked at the Exedy web site but was wondering if you could provide some information and details on what the differences would be for a SVTF application (input torque rating, disc type/friction material, rough service life estimate, etc.).

 

I dont have any specific specs on it at this time, since we are in a very preliminary stage of development. However, you can expect that the capacities/reliability/cost etc.. will be similar to the current duratec offerings...

I would like to see a heavy duty pressure plate, so I can safely rev my car higher rpms.

I would be very interested but only if it comes with a new throw-out bearing. I would probably be interested in a stage 1. My clutch is dying right now. Will there be any discount for early buyers?
