Where can I see the #s on SVT production? How many were made each year and what colors. Is that stuff on this site? And what does an SVT look like with out the Euro package. Yes that stuff is on the site, read the sticky posts. There's two of them.

A SVTF without the euro package looks just like a SVTF with the euro package except for the wheels and interior.

SVTF's only came in one shade of blue.

So none Euro SVTFs have the same bumpers as the Euro SVTF but has different wheels and interior?

I thought I heard that there was a special option to get the color changing paint? Maybe not.

also (European Appearance Package) EAP SVT's have HID headlights. Plus, Yellow and Orange SVTF's only came with the EAP.

To answer your question, the only visual differences of the EAP SVT are wheels, interior and the headlights.

they have heated seats and T/C too. I hate the T/C but the heated seats are amazing and the block heater.
Um, that was availible on all SVTs. Part of the cold weather package. Well, the seats were. Unless you meant something else...

yup. winter package here in my 02. heated seats feel nice on teh bum bum. the winter package included the heated mirrors, engine block heater, traction control and heated seats.

No mysticolor paint. Competition Orange and Screaming Yellow were Euro appearance package only. Other than the wheels, the leather recaro's, and the two colors I just mentioned all options were available on other SVTF's. (year dependent)

2002 Options:
Winter package (heated seats, block heater, traction control)
moonroof
Audiophile (upgraded front speakers, 6" sub w/amp in the trunk, 6-disc headunit)

2003 Options:
Winter package (heated seats, block heater, traction control)
moonroof
Audiophile (upgraded front speakers, 6" sub w/amp in the trunk, 6-disc headunit, upgraded rear speakers on 5-doors)
HID headlamps
European Appearance Package (included all of the above options, additional paint options, 15-spoke wheels, and Recaro seats with black perforated leather inserts. Not available on the 5-door or in Sonic Blue)
5-door

2004 Options:
Winter package (heated seats, block heater, traction control)
moonroof
Audiophile (upgraded front speakers, 6" sub w/amp in the trunk, 6-disc headunit, upgraded rear speakers on 5-doors)
HID headlamps
European Appearance Package (included all of the above options, additional paint options, 15-spoke wheels, and Recaro seats with black perforated leather inserts.)
5-door

SVT here... devoid of any options... no traction control, no moon roof, no heated seats, just the standard old SVT... it has heated mirrors though... I added the audiophile system, and HIDs though! :)

The Euro's also have Clear/base painted engine compartment. Regular SVT's do not, base only.
Interesting... all colors? Or just the orange and yellow?

Sonic Blue is probably the color your thinking about on the SVTF...in different shades of light it'll look darker/lighter and sometimes even purplish. THE BEST color IMO ;) (of course this is a non-biased opinion)

You'll have to change your name now. I read the thread about your car, you say that the SVT is like a totally different car compared to the ZX3. Now that some SVTs are becoming more affordable, I'm considering one. I've got a sedan SE right now. I like it, but it's like I only have half a focus cuz I'm missing the hatch that I think looks sooo beautiful. Any way, when I've checked out some SVTs I've noticed that the doors close nicer, and the door handles are nicer and the over all fit and finish seems nicer. What else do you like more about the SVT than the ZX3?

I guess you must be right. Now that the weather is going to warm up, when I see these suspect cars around town, I'm going to take pics so I can compare and see if these cats have got custom paint or not. I hope I see some of them again, if I do, I'll put fj pimp cards on their windshields.

My engine compartment is Cleared. It's an interesting thing I noticed after looking at several other silver SVTF's, mine was the only one with it! See for yourself:

I don't know if I can change my name... but I like it the way it is... it's been that way for almost 5 years now!

You are right... the overall fit and finish is a lot better, just feels like a more solid car. I am content with the power output as it is... the only thing it needs is a tune from a reputable source... I hear a lot of good things about Randy's tunes, and I really like my tune from Tom. The seats are really supportive, and fit me just right. It's also nice to have a "performance oriented" car that doesn't get a whole lot of attention from the cops... and it could be becuase my car is blue, and not yellow like my last one.

The handling of these cars is phenomenal, and I am just now, after almost a year, am getting used to pushing the car closer to it's limits, but even when I do push it more and more, it just seems like there isn't any end... it just digs in and does it's job, and does it good.
