Swap ib5+ > mtx-75 ?

Hey guys,

Where I live, Ford sold focus with the 2.0 Duratec Engine and the manual IB5+ transmission (I dont know if this transmission is available in the USA)

I wanted to buy one of these focus from a guy, but the IB5+ cant handle as much power and torque as the MTX-75 ! Does anyone know if a swap to fit the MTX-75 would be easily done? I would like to turbocharge this vehicle in the future

if it's a 2.0 duratec same as in USA then yea. mtx75 bolts up.

Are you sure you have an iB5+?

I just looked at a picture of a 2005 2.0L Duratec UK Focus and it had an MTX-75 in it.

that's what I was thinking. lol. ib5 came on escorts with vct (zx2) and 2.0l SPI boat anchors

Just to clarify,what model year is your "duratec" 2.0 powered car, and what country are we talking about?

Swap ib5+ > mtx-75 ?
