Got my tach adapter and tach and was looking for some better instructions with some good pictures. Did a search but didn't come up with anything...maybe I searched wrong cause I am sure someone has done this. My car is an 05 by the way.
Not a lot of people have hooked aftermarket tachometers up to a Duratec yet. The only piece of advice I remember is that you need a tach driver that can be set to a 1-cylinder engine. Because of the coil-on-plug system, setting it to 4-cylinder will make your tach read 1/4 of the actual rpm.
That's all I remember about it, but you can search for it in the Duratec Tuning forum. I remember a thread on it in the last 6 months or so.
well on the instructions on the tach adapter it says to actually set the tachometer to 8 cylinder no matter what. ok i will post in the duratec perfromance. thanks
