Thats IF it ever hits its MPG targets and on top of that I would be surprised to see someone only drive city 90% of the time unless it was a work truck.

I see that most of the 'soccer mom' SUVs are doing at least 80% city driving.

Drop the kids off at school, go to Target, get your nails done, go to Lowe's, have lunch with Barbie and Sabrina, go the grocery store, pick up the kids from school, take the kids to soccer, piano, baseball, gymnastics and tap-dancing.

Rinse and repeat... 5 days a week.

Then one or maybe two weekends a month, the big freakin truck hits the freeway out of town.

This is my observation of how it works with the majority of SUV owners that I know.

For those people, the Hybrid option makes some sense.
