Ok, I've been fighting this throttle stick, high idle, cel for about a week now, took off my fc tb and it appears the gasket has been leaking between the flapper and the bypass. Would this cause my problems? I hope so, ordered a new one, will be here monday. Lemme know opinions. Thanks

a vaccum leak can definately cause several problems... in essence, if there is iar leaking in after the MAFS, your car is unknowingly running lean. This could also be the source of your CEL, but I am not sure on that one. As for the throttle stick, you need to lightly adjust the idle screw... loosen the holding nut and turn the screw no more than a quarter turn at a time then tighten the nut back down... be very carefil when tightening that nut as it strips out the housing easily if too tight!

AND.. get that gasket fixed ASAP!
