I applaud the kid for working through a project to create change, but is this the kind of change we need? At least he will be able to pimp his Elantra while delivering pizza's now.

Unlawful display of green lights; violations
Sec. 2. Except as provided in section 1 of this chapter, a person who displays on any public or private motor vehicle at any time green lights of any size or shape commits a Class C infraction.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">That is the law he is trying to get changed. I still think he'd get ticketed under this law:

IC 9-19-6-18
Fender lamps; running-board courtesy lamps; back-up lamps
Sec. 18. (b) A motor vehicle may be equipped with not more than one (1) running-board courtesy lamp on each side that emits a white or an amber light without glare.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">So if his neons are visible from the side of the vehicle they have to been white or amber to be legal. Any Indiana law enforcement officers here care to comment?

Good. It's unreal the amount of idiotic "vehicle code" laws are out there in any state.
