My car is in the shop again for a bunch of stuff. Im getting really tired of this, i cant even drive the car ive worked my ass off for. Im pretty sure my car meets lemon requirements in my state. So what do u do? just ask for a dispute settlement board form? should i send a copy of my service record? any advice?

Thnx

go to team pit stop, team rigz or off topic..not sure which one. someone who did it wrote up a "how to" so to speak. It use to be pinned, but I guess it got lost or something. try a search in those and see if you find it.

deezlins,
The original thread was set up by andrew d b and it was made into a sticky but for some reason it no longer is listed so I ran a search for you to find some info that might help you in filing for the Lemon Law.Here is one thread relating to Lemon Law filing procedures:

*Edit*
I located the thread from andrew d b found on page 12 in Pit Stop:
http://www.focaljet.com/ubbthreads/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=UBB1&page=11&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=31

Plus this:http://www.focaljet.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB28&Number=678425&Forum=All_Forums&Words=lemon&Match=And&Searchpage=1&Limit=25&Old=3weeks&Main=661521&Search=true#Post678425

Keep in mind I know Thameth (Joe) has been in contact with Ford's DSB so you can PM him for any further assistance should you need it.Another option is you can either contact the dealership where you bought your SVTF or Ford directly for instructions.Good luck and I hope this helps some.

the center for auto safety has a bunch of great info you'd be interested in. they give info about each states lemon law and what steps you may have to take. http://www.autosafety.org/

this article has a bunch of details about arbitration and lemon law.

i am currently going though the process with the dsb. last week i sent them the application with a cover letter describing my problems and safety concerns and stating that the car is considered a lemon under Nevada law. i also included copies of every service reciept with dates to back up my claims. the dsb pamphlet says they resolve cases within 40 days, so if all goes well i'll have a big fat check in a month or so
