Just curious to read what others think of non-US drivers? I just spent 12 days touring Ireland in a Citroen C5. I realized how large this car was when passing cars half its size on roads half the size of those in the states. My German friend traveling with us remarked that the Irish are especially crazy and seldom slow when approaching. I was once overtaken while doing 45 mph on a twisty-wet mountain road. The best part, I was traveling uphill around a blind corner.
All in all, I was impresed with their courtesy and skill. However, I attribute much of the road insanity to their strong faith in God. I must be somewhat lacking in the latter, as I never gained full comfort in their style, but enjoyed the driving none the less.
Any other opinions? Here is an example of a two lane mountain pass.
