I just ported my stock t/b and when I drove it to see how it ran, my rpms seem to hang around 2800. It takes my engine longer to get down to idle which is around 700 rpms (normal). It is also very hot out today and it also seems to do it more often when the a/c is running. Does anybody know what the problem could be, if its even a problem at all.
Thanks.

double check for leax or if you knocked a hose off. also check the tps hookup (they can be finicky)....unplug your battery for a bit, the replace it to reset the ecu. then start it up and drive a bit. just dont fiddle w/the idle screw, wont help, and ecu will try to compensate (1 more for eggyolk lol)

good luck
