well i was enjoying myself up at limerock and watching the races/car show yesterday and when i went to my car to leave i had a delightful surprise...my steering wheel locked up in a position that would not allow me to turn my key...spent 2 hours at the track trying to jiggle it and get it to work but it just wouldn't...so i had to call my dad to drive 1 hour and 45 mins (an hour the way i drive) to pick me and my friends up and i had to leave my baby over night...

went up there this mornin relieved to see she was alright and still had her wheels on...got a flatbed truck to tow it (but it had cars parked on either side so the tow truck had to pull it out usin a tie and slide it horizontal...tied to my RIM!!!)...and i followed her to brewster ford...man i cant wait till i can get in their and show how much i enjoyed this time...oh and the tow truck guy before he came asked "wat kinda car" i said a "focus" he said "wats wrong with it" i said "the key wont turn because..." and he stopped me their saying he knows bout the problem and said i was the 11th focus he had towed with the same problem!!!!

other than that limrock was awesome...saw some foci, but they were either completely riced out or just commuters...except for this chic from CT in a blue one with my same rims and mysame exhaust...i have found my soul mate!

I had that problem. According to the dealership, it had something to do with the cylinder head or some sorts. I think it was frozen or something.

This problem did happen to a bunch of members too. So you're not the only one.

Anyways, when I got my car back from the dealership, they gave me a new set of keys.

That was a cool thing for them to do, because I was going to go and make a spare key, because I lost my original spare.

no i would have used the search function if i was asking if it HAD happened to other and wat it was...but i wasn't...merely just tellin was happened...
