Okay guys. Lets prove to one and all that that famous Focaljet family isn't a thing of the past like some seem to think it is.
Our one and only Frush has fallen on some hard times with his SVT Hermione. In an attempt at building a Focus that would make all of us proud he's run into a heap of problems which have now culminated in a melted piston...DOH! Alex is discouraged and ready to give up this fight with his supercharger and just part the car out. We just can not let that happen.
Alex has done a lot for the community in the past year and given quite a chunk of his time and heart to making Norcal a better place with G2Gs, twisty days, and whatnot. I think it would be a good thing if we could help him out through this tragedy and help Hermione rise again.
Don't let Alex or Hermione fade away! Lets help restore his car and his faith in all things automotive.
Tijiez and the group over at Team Focus Norcal have started a collection to get Alex's car back on the road and I think it would be a good thing to try and help get our fallen breatheren back on the road.

Although I completely trust Tijiez, if you have any qualms about sending the money to Tijiez, feel free to Paypal the money to me at rluebs@gmail.com which I will pass along in person. The important thing here is to help out a friend in need.
It looks like the plan at the moment may be a new short block as it would be the quickest way back to running. Lorin and I will be donating some money, a weekend and some hands on help, as well as any additional driveway storage to this worthy cause.
