"Check the resistor on the fan assembly. When it burns out the low speed fan dosent come on." - Okay so I am having the same problem as the other person with the over heating focus and I've already spent close to $500 hundred with ford throwning parts at the problem and hoping it would go away and now they want to tell me to take my sound system and alarm out saying that could be the problem but that makes no damn sense what so ever. So can anyone here tell me how I would go about finding the resistor and fixing this myself. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated...

took a bit of searching but i found the thread that explains this problem with pics. look thru that, i think it has all the info about this issue (of course it could be something else).

on a different note, what parts has ford already replaced? just curious.
