anyone know where i can purchase a higher stall torque converter so i can eventually run stage 3 cams and in the end i want to try and be the first 2.3 to be converted to 2.5 and push round 350bhp i would love to get those numbers

If you're reaching for that goal, then you should already be aware of what it may take and who makes the parts...otherwise, it looks like you have a steep learning curve...




Try any of the reputable aftermarket trans guys:

Lentech

B&M

Art Carr

Performance Automatic

and others; all of them will make a convertor for you, but you have to decide on lock-up or non lock-up and chances are that a smaller 'vertor will not be able to have the lock-up clutchpack in it.n I'm not sure.

Be prepared to spend some dough; at least 700 dollars, if not a lot more, just for the torque convertor. After that, you'll need a stronger input shaft, better friction materials... the list goes on...

Just get the complete lentech treatment all in one shot.

i'll continue forgetting about Level10 thank you very much.

Lentech has a known reputation among real racers. Level10 has a real high price...but that's abt all I know.
