Got the exhaust hung this past weekend. C.E. ehaust was bought from Bustonit "Chalon" many many ages ago I was riding my Stegosaurus to the best buy parking lot to meet Chalon on his Triceratops. We traded some stories and craw fish....

I also shampooed the carpet and seats. Didn't get any pictures tho.. Mybe if I remember when i'm doing the more work on it this week.

I should be bleeding the brakes out mid week and hope to get the oil block this friday with any luck. "Haveing one custom spun out of alumiunm" So that means the rest of the fuilds can get dumped into it and that means time to start it up!!!:D I'm really hoping for no bugs....

Thanks:)

I am kinda thinking about blacking out the pipe coming down to the tip but I also kinda like seeing it there. I did black out the area behind the rear diffuser area with some bed liner in a can. I should spray the rest of the underside with it, used it on my jeeps floor and it is pretty durable stuff.

Do you remember who you sold those Monzas too? Was it Rafal on FF? I've tried several times to buy that set from him, but I think he disappeared from the forums.

As the Story goes with those wheels they originaly came from Chalon, Chalon then sold them to a MNfocus member, I then bought them from that person "still new in the box's" I then sold them back to Chalon and he then sold them on FF. I mybe put a 1,000 miles on those wheels. I'm bummed that they are gone but I'm getting hooked up:thumbup:

Paint the pipe and paint the inside of the tip as well.

Edit- I painted the outside of the tip on mine also and thought it looked really good. Mine just had the edge of the exhaust tip showing chrome/stainless.

Only pic I could find in my Photobucket,

BTW- Shouldn't you be painting something else in your spare time? I just got more new parts but have nothing to hang them on. :(

Nice love the center exit on the red, my buddy had that exact red svt with c.e
I would try painting some part of it, after awhile it would get stained black and started to burn the top of the diffuser.

Update on the SVT.

Got my remote oil block from the machinist monday and installed last night. It might not be purdest thing in the world, but it is very well made.

Old vs. New

I also got it started last night first time in over 3 years!

But.... Its not running quite right yet. It won't idle and is does not have a good throttle response. It is throwing P1504/P0511 idle air control circuit code, and I have checked the following so far changed plugs, wires, coil, checked fuel pressure, everything looks to be plugged in. Just have to check for vaccum and intake leaks.

Also thanks Steve for going over things with me last night on the phone:wub:
