go to a local performance shop and see how much they could fab one up for you. a couple places around me said the could do one for 500ish +- 50 depending on the place

and they said that for the t3/t4 hybrid and the header or what was that quote for? if that was for both then that was a great deal and i would be all over it
that was for the manifold alone the turbo was gonna be around 1,000- 1,500 depending on specs and brand

to me that just seems to be a little high but i mean what would i know about all this that is why im asking around right... it would be nice if i could get a response from tom
that price is just about on the money as long as its quality work. Build your own. I bought the flanges, and weldable elbows schedule40 and tigged it all up. Took alot of test fitting on the car before final welding.

You gave us 44 minutes to respond? Holy crap man.

To answer our question, no, nobody here can help you, if you can't help yourself. These types of newbie questions have been asked a billion times. Search for your answer.

Don't get mad because we're not going to spoon feed you... in 44 minutes.
$500 for a good one off manifold is a helluva price. I find that hard to believe unless they are just going to use a stock header, hack off the collector flange and weld on one that would accept a T3 turbine flange. If its too good to be true..........you know the rest.

Hell, if the manifold is mass produced $500 is a good deal (if its good quality)

Just be careful

if you dont believe me you could come down to pasadena and go to OVERKILL PERFORMANCE and ask the guys that work there. they are located at spencer and beverly they quoted me $500

I thought $500 was pretty reasonable... even a little high. That's $100 in materials and 8 hours of machinist labour, which is a decent going rate for a general machinist. And 8 hours is plenty of time for a manifold.

The only problem is I guess a lot of shops want to make $100/hour or something.
What kind of manifold are we talking about here anyway? What are your hp goals green squall?

A 90% finished log manifold starter kit like jgs turbo makes for the zetec goes for $250 and should be good for alot of hp before a 4-1 manifold would make a big difference. I don't think it can be beat for the price.

I have the jgs manifold for the spi and it's pretty nice.

I was just about to say the same thing, jgs can make that log style mani for about any I4 for $250.
I see used T3/T4 on turboford for $300 often.
im not real sure about my future HP gains, but im just looking for about 250 for now, and what is the site where i can go ahead and order that header.... it doesn't look like it would fit under the hood and in between the block and radiator after the turbo adn piping is added.... but im new at this so i am probly wrong.....
www.jgstools.com and then click the precision turbo link or whatever the link is for the turbo section.

as for the design, it should support 250 whp. Tom's kit supplies a manifold similiar in design and that has proven it's worth. As for fitment, I doubt you'll run into any problems as far as fitting the actual header with the turbo and all the piping. The owner of JGS tools had mocked up a turbo setup for his Focus a while ago and his fit fine.
Thanx Everyone for all your help, i think im gonna go with the stage 2 and just position the flange, if i need any more help ill just ask
I think you will find that you will have less money and nuch less time in it to just go with my piping kit .It also has been offered in the group buy so depending on how many get it you could save 490.00 off the cost

My piping kit comes with a stainless turbo header, all piping, intercooler, and down pipes ,the flanges are there allready for the external waste gate and the BOV and complete is 2200.00

I know there is one other very interested now so that is allready 140.00 off the price
