The only thing I would even consider altering would be the rear wing, other than that it's 100% perfect!!

Totally awesome in a ton of ways!

Any plans for getting a custom roll cage done? Its just rather close to you. The further away it is, the more room you have for it to soak that impact (but please dont impact anything!)

2. Why add weight to the car...?

Definitely dig the car, but could do without the Whale Tail.
I doubt this is why it's installed... but is it doing anything for your down force? Something like T1 installed on his track whore would really set this car off (and actually do something for down force. It's 3 way adjustable, and I believe actually tunnel tested. Doubt WW tunnelled that 'thing')
Cosmetic wise, it would also set off the diffuser you have (which is sick... and would look amazing powdercoated black)

thanks for the comments guys,really appreciated the whale tail came with the car,so if it does/doesn`t work i don`t know.shall see in a couple of weeks
(final live map,bruntingthorpe airfield where i hope the car can crack 190mph.
the car has done 174mph with approx 130+bhp less than what its got now)

regarding diffuser,was painted satin black,but you couldn`t really notice it
so just removed the paint.and left it as it is.

190mph in a Focus would be wicked... and scary.

Subtlety is half the fun too!

I was more imagining the powdercoated diffuser with a CF wing atop the hatch.

Definitely looking forward to see how fast this sucker goes... but I'll imagine you might want to look into a diffuser for the front as well to help this thing stabilize at speeds the egg was never tested at.

I haven't seen the other threads on this car, so, what's the main purpose of this car?

no!i done 179.8mph in my old fiesta rs turbo,so i think the focus is 2nd(for now ) so the same engine 2 uk records.
re! front diffuser,just got focus rs one/and the rest sheeted in with alloy.
the car is surprisingly stable at high speed(alot more so than the fiesta:thumbup: thats one of the reasons i changed it.)
the purpose of the car is mainly topspeed runs,standing mile etc,/track days.but just got some 15"revs+225/50/15 bf goodrich drag radials,so have a go at that aswell.
the best thing is its fun

the diffuser probably isn't going to do much with how it's built. eye candy, maybe for some not in the know. but useful, not likely....

there is ZERO aero work done to this car so it's no more likely to crack 145mph than any other Focus. power or not, the Focus hatch becomes retardedly unstable beyond 130mph.
what sort of gearing are you running and what is your redline?

i'll give you credit, there's some money and R&D into the engine by the looks of it, but you are either not telling us the whole story or.........
