Hey folks, i can find little to no information regarding the zetec superchargers available innthe UK. their numbers seem attractive despite the price.

Really, what im wondering is why we have so little information regarding them? Is it as simple as no one has attempted to bring a kit overseas?

Heres a little info regarding one kit (which considering what we have available am i wrong to find this slightly attractive?)

Hi Luc.
Our supercharger kit is designed for the blacktop 2 litre zetec in a rear wheel drive set up. This would take it to 220bhp without any internal mods. To make it work you would need the following ;
Supercharger kit inc all brackets, oil system, pipework, and fittings 2,175.00
Ecu 545.00
Loom 275.00
Lambda sensor 55.00
Air temp sensor 15.00
4x injectors 180.00
Map sensor 80.00

In addition you will need an intercooler and pipework and connection to you plenum chamber.
All above prices plus VAT and carriage.

Hope this helps.
Martin.

Werent the JRSC known for not making all that much power while producing lots of heat? Also 220bhp is a little bit more than a jrsc's 150-160whp

Any more details? :D

I have yet to see a JRSC that only makes 150whp lol. Svt kits are around 220 whp. Besides that kit is really only 188 whp as that rating is at the crank. But that being said the JRSC does make a lot of heat but can be helped with water meth. I just think you would be a lot better off with other options.

My SVT JRSC+BBK did 206whp (uncorrected, 106* day, 4th pull) with everything else stock. Of course these are SVT examples, not standard Zetecs. I am curious to know if these kits are using the Rotrex supercharger, and what the bracket they are using looks like.
