wow, there is nothing quite like seeing a 8.8 stuffed under a focus. quick question, I am sure you mentioned this before but which engine did you choose?

ya you can tell from the back that its not stock

beautiful focus cant wait to see her in action

I know you want it to look stock, but you should at least consider going with an SVT rear bumper. The rear valance on that bumper goes lower than the stock ZX3 bumper and can help hide the solid rear axle that you're sporting.

I agree. Plus, the new lower valance you can get with the 06 'ST' package can accomodate a dual exhaust.

Beautiful work!

i concur. my first thought was " if he wants it to be a sleeper, that pumpkin is a dead giveaway." but then, the exhaust size (and sound) will probably "out" you quickly, too.

nice work. i can relate to your contemplative, calculated approach. "only fools rush in" and all that.

i dont think any focus has the aerodynamics or gearing to stay with a lambo at the track
Image
it will have the gearing to stay for the 1st 1/4 mile or so

You mean like this one?

"""Given the Focus's ultra-low gearing (over 25 percent shorter in first, 18 percent in second), the odds looked pretty even at the dragstrip. But the Lambo's weight distribution is exactly reversed from that of the Focus (44 front/56 rear)"""

in the 1/4 they would hang..... on ANY other track i dont quite think so
