I've Change the title of this thread from-V-O-L-V-O- C30
Since The C30 may be as close as we get to an ST, maybe some people would be interested in learning more about it.
Just fond these chops of the Volvo C30 that has yet to be seen.
Don't know how close these are to the real thing but I like the rumors I have heard enough that I plan to make this my top choice in replacements for the Focus.

Some details about the upcomming C30 that I know of to date as taken from Swedespeed:
1. The name Volvo 'll be written on the back in the way it has been written in the topic title.
2) The whole front of the car looks almost the same of the S40.
3) There 'll be a sport version (not from the beginning) with dual exhausts, 18 inch wheels. No word about the motor.
4) The C30 won't receive the D5, only a 16D and 2D.
5) Planned introduction: 2006 - week 40 in Paris.
6) There are already some C30's assembled in Ghent, to modify the assembly line.
7) The first prototypes won't be assembled before october 2005. The final production starts after the vaction 2006 in Ghent.
8) The doors are ~20 cm longer then the doors of the S40.
9) There 'll be a T5 version (not from the start). The normal 5-cylinders are also part of the show.
10) Some sure details: There 'll be THREE interior colors.
Those are black, gray, and a very, very beautifull Bordeaux (a deep red).
11) The car is a little bit longer then the Audi A3 and Volkswagen Golf.
Other rumors include that the car will feature 250 bhp (think Ford Focus ST) and all wheel drive.
An R version is also reported to be planed. This car is to utilize the Volvo S60R's 300 bhp motor. Expect all wheel drive here as well.
That should give the Scoobys and EVO's something to think about.
