has anyone seen this months HCI mag? they tell you exactly how to install a 5.0 V8 in a focus!! this is a bolt in kit made by Kugel Komponents and they claim that you can run 11's in the 1/4 mile. this issue is a must for all jetters. not sure on a price though. for the kit not the mag that is.

i have heard of the swap, i saw it in an import tuner a couple of issues ago. I think it is only for the zx3 though, right?

well the engine compartments should be the same for both. they did it to a zx3 but it might work for the sedan too. doesn't say if you have to change the drivetrain though. but a 4wd v8 would kick ass

the entire kit is about 10k i think. not sure if thats with engine/drivetrain.

The kit is about $4,000-$4,800 because of different options that you can have such as power steering, A/C, and an aluminum gas tank. The kit comes with a 8.8 inch ford rear end in 2 different suspension options

What are the suspension choices, because I am really thinking about this swap but using the 4.6, BUT I have a show car and I want the car to still have the lowered look I dont want to go back to the 4x4 days

i think there is alot more to it than what meets the eyes, i.e. flushed strut towers??? look at the pics
