i drive a lot at night it is awfully dark in the cabin of my focus. What i would like to do is put some kind of lighting in the dashboard vents.
What i want to do is acheive the same green lighting as the stereo, and i want it so you do not see the actual "lights" but i want to acheive that "glow" of green coming from the vents. also to hook up so lights turn on and operate like all the other lights (if i could possibly hook the existing dimmer up also that would be great)

if any body has any advice on: 1.)how to install
2.)what kind of
lights to use.
3.)where to get
all that is
needed.
thank you

I heard this idea from someone that just joined the Mid-west team about a month back and was curious about this also. I wasnt sure about using the wires cause I figured they would not give off enough glow. Neons would probably work but can they take the heat when it comes winter time?

I have been planning on doing a full LED treatment to the interior of my car. I think LEDs would definitely be the way to go for what you want to do.

my light doesn't work either. And nothing will stay in the plug. the lighter doesn't work anymore and I can't put any other plugs in there. I'll check my fuses the next time I have to take off the whole bottom panel. the fuse panel sits too far back to get to.
