Here we go, the story first.

My 2002 SVT is the third Focus I've owned, prior to the SVT I had an Autumn Orange 2000 ZX3 2.0 MTX and a Liquid Grey 2004 ZX3 2.3 MTX.

I purchased the SVT used in 2004 stone stock with 42000 miles on the clock, it gradually evolved over time but over all these years it's been my daily driver and it's performed that role flawlessly. In the nearly 100,000 miles I've put on it during my ownership it's never once failed to start and never once broken down or left me stranded and it's lived in Minnesota weather ranging from -35 to 100+ degrees.

Now almost ten years later it still runs perfectly, pulls strong and hard and it's still fun to drive although it is about due for some new suspension arms, The roof rack is not for show either, it's used to haul road bikes on a regular basis. This car is not babied, it's driven and used but it's also been maintained and cared for.

This quirky, fun to drive, great handling, well balanced, high maintenance little car has been the most reliable, trustworthy vehicle I've ever owned.

My short mod list,

Peformance-

Custom tune from Unique Tuning in S.C.
Ford Racing short throw shifter
K&N panel filter
Ford Racing 9mm wires
Screaming Demon coil
65mm Stage 2 ported stock throttle body
ORP
CFM dogbone inserts
Ford Racing Borla cat-back
FRPP Dynamic suspension
FRPP strut brace

Appearance-
Mach HIDs
OEM style carbon hood
Painted hatch strip
Lightly tinted tails
Mach lip
Custom grille
Drivers door lock delete
Rota Boosts
SAP rear diffuser
Vinyl wrapped front side markers

The day she came home,

And the evolution,

The day she hit 100k, appropriately on the way home from a weekend at Road America and how she still looks now, slightly the worse for wear and she carries a few battle scars but that's to be expected with a car that's driven in Minnesota year 'round.

Not bad for a 135k daily driver,

And how she looks now, slightly the worse for wear and she carries a few battle scars but that's to be expected with a car that's driven in Minnesota year 'round.

That's a great looking wagon, and it really makes me miss my MOMOs!

Woah! I havn't been on for the entire month of December so far and just noticed the results of this one.

First let me say thanks to everyone here for the votes! The wagon wouldn't be anywhere near what it is today without all of the help from everyone here. Secondly I'm honored to have come in second to the awesome guy who has provided me with a huge chunk of the parts to keep the car running in tip top shape - congrats Steve!
