What is possible that you can do, modification wise, that will not void warrenty? Probbably nothing huh? Like can you paint interior, paint engine bay, add exhaust, just a new muffler, CAI, stuff like that?

The reason is because I would like to buy a new muffler, just cause I like the way it looks and my friend has one, the same one, 2.0 engine, and it's LOW. And I love low sounding stuff. But since it's a new muffler, they have to cut off the old one and weld on the new one, that's where im thinking that they would void it, but I mean, it's just a muffler, every car has a muffler, it's not like a whole new exhaust system and stuff...

No it will not void anything. when you mod your car and something goes wrong with it, to be able to void the warranty they have to show and prove THAT one part caused the problem.

like if you got the muffler, and your exhuast starts to rust
and needs to be replaced. yeah it would not be covered.

but if your door wont close anymore due to some reason they CANNOT say that your warranty is voided cause of a modification that was done on your motor.
