Ok, just about everytime i get my focus up to a high rpm, and then i start slowing down, for a brief moment it smells like somethins is burning. Its only after its running hard for a brief time and then i drop it to a lower rpm and get this smell for a few seconds what could it be?

Well i dont know how it could be the end of the clutch life, ive never been hard on the clutch, i have never dumped it or anything like that, it doesnt slip either. Clutch also engages fine and shifts fine. and i made a mistake before. I get the smell not when shifting to the lower rpm from like 6000, i only get the smell for a few secs when im in a high rpm and i let off the gas and let the engine slow itself down.

I'm not hard on my clutch either. Every time I rev high, it smells like burnt rubber. Could this be the clutch? I only have ~50,000 miles on my ZX3.

i could be wrong,,,but something tells me its the clutch..especially how u say it does it in high rpm when u let the gas out really quik,,,it may not be really bad, but id still take a day and check it out..to bad warranty dont cover clutches though,,,,i hate changing those damn things.
