so heres the dill im planning on makeing a costom turbo kit for my car and i have been looking to see how i can tune for it before i start buying all the stuff so what i need to know is what is the best and chepes way to tune a 06 duratec for a turbo

If you are going to add a turbo to a car and get it tuned, best and cheapest should never be used together.

You want the car to be safe so that it doesn't blow up and you waste all that money. A cheap tune just might do that.

Ideally you would want to get the car to someone who has tuned that combo before and get the car on their dyno so that it can be logged and dialed in accordingly. A mail order tune can work but I would recommend a wideband with that so that you can monitor your air fuel ratio and give the necessary feedback to your tuner.

What? So confused. He never said anywhere specifically. You would have to find a performance shop in your area that has dealt with the Duratec before. And yeah, when talking about going turbo, never ever use the work "cheapest." Only time you can go pretty cheap is intercooler piping, oil lines...that's about it.

you really want to cheap out on the oil line? really?
The oil line I found on eBay is $20 vs. an overpriced oil line from ATP. I've asked multiple people if eBay oil line kits are decent and they said sure.

dont tell that to my friend whose ebay oil line rusted out and now binds up and kinks whenever he needs to remove or install it...

and the thought of the line leaking/rupturing and your motor having no more oil... ugh

You can make a good one for maybe $40 using Earls or Russel fittings and similar line from Summit. I'd definitely go that route for piece of mind for something that critical. Cars burn to the ground because of faulty oil feeds.

You have a friend who got a bad oil line. Doesn't mean they will all be bad. If a magnet sticks to the line then it isn't braided stainless.
