I'm looking on getting a bunch of my underhood parts painted the same color as the car...but I didn't know which parts could take the underhood temperatures w/normal body color paint?

parts i'm looking to paint:

valve cover
battery covers
fuse box cover
intake tube
coolant cover

Other then that I think that would be it

do you all think this would work out? or nah

the parts focusonfocus listed will be fine, but if or when you do the intake tube and valve cover, (esp the valve cover) be sure to use high temp paint, i didn't my first time around and it baked the paint right off.

You can always talk to a local paint shop and have them mix you up a spray can of high temp paint in your color. that would be the best route to take.

It doesn't look cheezy if you use professional paint, and a good sprayer.

If you want something that'll last, consider powercoating.

actually if you wanna powdercoat some engine parts just get the power sprinkle it on the part, evenit out, and go for a drive and let it bake while you drive!

**note I am totally joking on this one
it could be done but I doubt it will look good
