If it is a torx use a torx socket or wrench don't use an allen wrench. It will strip out and then you will have to pull the manifold. You are trying to avoid that right? If you do end up pulling it be carfuf of the EGR tube and the break booster vaccum line they break easy. Well they did for me when I put my powerworks kit on anyway. Hope this helps.
What size bolts hold on IAC valve? Best way to remove it?
Trying to remove my IAC valve and having troubles. Any hints/tips you could give would be great. Also, what size bolts hold it on. Looks like torx bolts. Should i maybe use an allen wrench? Please help.
