I need to replace my front wheel bearings badly..they grind and vibrate and all sorts of nasty crap...

If I just bought new hubs from Ford or somebody that sells them..do the bearings already come installed in the hub or do I have to purchase new bearings from Ford???

also how hard or easy is it to install?

thanks

You can buy replacement bearings...
they are pressed into the knuckle...
not a do-it-yourself type of repair.

P.S.
About $23.00 each from Ford...
also, ABS and non-ABS bearings are different.

Unless you have a really good hydraulic press and a lot of bushings, etc. to size for pressing the bearings in or out, and know how to use them, take the knuckle to a machine shop. shouldn't be too expensive. Check torque specs when you reinstall the knuckle.

The Ford hubs don't come with the bearings...
they have to be purchased separately and
then pressed in to your hubs.......
that's why I mentioned that it wasn't a
"do-it-yourself" project.

If you check with KOI they may be able to press them for you, I know some of them in Ky do that kind of service. Let me know if I can be of any help!
