Hi, I had my gauges on for a month now and they were working fine. I got my alarm installed yesteday afternoon and at night, when I turned on the gauges, I noticed that smoke was coming out of the gauge cluster. I removed it to notice it almost caught on fire !! I unpluged evereything and removed the white gauges. What could have gone wrong ?? I'm guessing it's related with the installation of the alarm but why ?? Also, I there any way to fix them. The fire melted the circuit connecting the gauges to the wires ( It's the little blue part on the pic ) :

Thanks for your help,
Marc.

mine was sparking inside when it was moved to a certain angle. When the bus is barely connected to the wires it will tend to spark, what I did was use a piece of cardboard behind the bus part of the guage face and tape the wire and bus part down to the guage cluster and it stopped sparking....the bus was getting eaten away on mine.
