The B&M shifters I've found don't fit 2002 models...Steeda's shifter isn't out yet...where can I turn?

Anyone have a short shifter for their 2002?

Help me out please! Thanks.

you were told wrong about the B&M short shifter, i've had mine installed in my '02 ZX3 for 3 months now, and not a single complaint, it's a beautiful thing if i may say so myself, it works perfectly with the reverse lock, and the knob is hollow and sits very low, have my dig cam on me, i'll try to post a pic of it

sorry about the clarity, hard to focus in pitch dark

EDIT: maybe it's just me, but the pics won't load on my screen, here's imagestation site, try that if they don't load B&M Pics @ imagestation
i'll figure this out eventually

If you Focus was built AFTER April of '02, then you have the new shift assembly and thus cannot use any of the current shifters.

But if it was built before April of this year, they will all work fine.

There's this one company that makes Short shifters that have a universal fit. Not to mention is has adjustable sizes. You get to pick your own customizeable lenght. It's very cool.

Here's a picture of their product:

Hmm...well I already chopped 2" off mine...but a short shifter reduces thrust....which is what I want...

My car is post april 02...guess I"m screwed till something comes out.

Thanks anyways.
