Why does my engine blow oil through my valve cover breather? It gets really annoying. I do have higher compression, i've heard that is what causes it. My compression check is good. Is there a way to stop or prevent this?

There is going a little oilly residue sent out through the breather, that is normal from what I've heard and read. You can buy a independent breather filter so it isn't venting into your air box.

I don't know this is quite of bit of oil but mine stays dry so it could be normal the Dodge SRT I know spit out about a ounce every 150 to 300 miles now thats alot.

On ANY of the performance engines this needs to be vented to the outside and not going into the intake any more for 2 reasons

1)It is HOT air that is being sucked into the intake
2)It has oil particals in it that can promote Deto, Oil lessens the Oct of gas

Now im not saying that everyone go out and do this but some with the highte HP engines this needs to be done at some point

Also do it on a long hose and vent it down so you dont smell the oil smell in the car

When I was replacing my TB, I saw oil residue all on the inside of my intake pipe, down the throat of the stock TB, all over the butterfly, and down into the intake runner. I just went and bought a cheesey little APC filter, resprayed the little cap gloss black, got a piece of rubber hose to go from the valve cover to the filter, and plugged off the port on the intake.
If that was good or bad, I'm not really sure. But, I haven't had any performance problems that I know of, and I just like the fact that I don't have oil down my intake anymore.
