will PZEV Products fit on mazda 2.3

Will any of these parts fit on the mazda 2.3? I know they are basically the same engine, except the mazda has vvt.

Marcy Motorsports cam alignment tool, and his upcoming balance shaft delete kit should work. I/H/E won't. Internals, I don't know, but I think they would.
Really the i/h/e wont? That's rough

Re: PZEV Products and Product Developments

I've emailed them about the cam alignment tool, but no response. Just wondering if we would get any gains with the VVT? HAs it been tested on a Mazda3? I'm ready to order!

The parts are coming for the Mazda3
Eibach springs, Progressive springs, H&R springs, AEM short and CAI, Bosal Cat-back. B&M has a Mazda3 to work with. And there are a couple of shops making parts for us. We probaly could use the Focus 2.3L header, but with a custom cat back or flex pipe section. I sure I was told it would bolt up.

Re: PZEV Products and Product Developments

The Focus header may bolt up to the engine, but the location and angle of the final collector flange is different on the Focus 2.3, the Mazda3 2.3L and the Mazda6 2.3L engines. Of course, the cylinder head flange and bolt locations are the same, so yes, it will bolt up to the engine, but it will not mate to the factory or aftermarket exhaust system for the Mazda3.

We are developing a header for both the 2.3L and 2.0L Mazda3 as well as the 2.3L Mazda6.

(triospeed) so i've got a question for you, from every thing of biker's i've read, the 2.0 and 2.3 seem to be fairly identical

what's the same:
head
intake
exhaust
con rods

different:
block height (otherwise block is identical)
stroke

questions:
pistons?
aftermarket part fitment

will the slight deck height difference make a significant difference w/ aftermarket parts such as IHE or not?

you can reply in PM or in triospeed.

greatly appreciated

The rods on the 2.3 cant be the same as 2.0? They've gotta be longer....anyone know the length on the 2.3 rods while we're at it?
