Hmm, very interesting. I wonder if it's the normal F1 posturing or the Michelin teams will actually go through with it. I can see the litigantion concerns since the US is a very litigation happy country and the fact that those that were accused of having a hand in Senna's death back in '94 were just recently cleared of any wrong doing, over 10 years after the fact. And that was Italian law, I can only imagin how bad it would be is someone was to go after Michelin or one of the teams in the US courts if god forbid something terrible did happen in the race tomorrow.

Hahaa... Wrong but funny.

Before leaving, Ecclestone then offered his thoughts of women joining men on the racetrack.

"You know, I've got one of these wonderful ideas that women should be all dressed in white like all the other domestic appliances," Ecclestone added.

haha omg

michelin couldn't make a tire capable of handling 13 so they try to change the rules? poor sports! the michelin-shod teams will just have to slow down.

Change the rules? That's lame. If any one of us were to show up at a track day or autocross and request the rules to be changed we'd be laughed right off the paddock. Hey run what ya brung, if ya can't hang go home. That said, I'd don't want to see anyone get hurt and I especially don't want to see all of the Michelin cars out of the race. maybe it's time to bring back the tire changes in the pits. The Speed Channel forums are all abuzz with this, good discussions.

By making a comment like this, you display to the readership of [FJ] your ignorance of the speed and precision necessary to be competetive in F1.

Equipment failures -and- 190-plus MPH are not a laughing matter.

I'm glad I decided not to shell out money for tickets this year. I have a friend there right now, curious to see what bad stuff happens today.

Keep F1 across the pond, and especially out of the Brickyard.

That place was empty for the race, because obviously no one gives a damn about F1 over here. I know I could give a damn about it.

I'll stick to my NASCAR and drag racing.
