Someone please HELP! I have a 2000 Ford Focus that is having a cold start, or cold run problem. After sitting overnight, it will not run. The motor will turn over, but it quits. It will start every time, but then die. Sometimes I have cranked it 30+ times, and it would die every time. Then, after I get home from work, I will go out, and a lot of times it will start right up, and run. It has been to 4 different mechanics, ford garage 3 times, they have replaced the fuel pump (so they say), the head sensor, the temperature sensor, and another sensor, it works for about three weeks, and does it again. Does anybody have any ideas?????? Please help, I love my car, but I'm at my wits end, and I'm afraid my mechanic is going to scream if I take this car to him again!

Well it sounds like the air idle bypass valve is dirty it does that when it is dirty if you have a stock manifold its under the manifold on the back side take it out and replace it or take some WD-40 and spray it out really good and open it up a few times to get it good and lubed
