Lets play a game. You get 5, 4+ wheeled vehicles. What are they?
Mine
5. 1968 Shelby GT 500. Been one of my favorites since i was young boy. I always looked for them at car shows with my dad so it makes the list
Image

4.Ford SVT Raptor. Cause you gotta have a truck to haul my other crap and because it's freakin awesome.
Image

3.1975 BMW 2002. Becuse in 1975 they stopped making BMW's
Image

2.2010 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce. cause it's one pissed off car and you've got to feed a little speed to your ride once in a while
Image

and
#1. 1951 Mercury Eight. Chopped and channled. Flat head V8. Alan Jackson had to have one. They've been rod'd out and stacked with style and HP. Idolized, recked, and raced by old men, old timers, dreamers and kids with way too much money. With the Desoto Grille or without? I like them both, but one thing is for sure in my book. it is the best looking car ever produced. Perfect in every way  Sigh.

Next?

Hmmm....

I need a track toy:
Image

...something to tow it with. I want a BIG trailer, so I need a big truck.
Image

I need a classic, but something light and nimble.
Image

A good road trip car is a must... something large and german.
Image

....and something turbocharged and juvenile.
Image

That ought to cover it.

#5 ·
lotus elise almost made it, but i opted for the 2002....and if i can afford a 51 merc i can afford the gas to use it for road trips

Is that the more realistic list???

Affordable track fun:

2004 Mazdaspeed Miata with some sort of compact V8 (and it's gotta be low weight) under the hood.
I love the lines of this car. Just a little extra bodywork where needed. Gorgeous to look at. The only thing missing is that V8 rumble.

Muscle:

1969 Boss 429
There isn't a thing unsexy about this car....anywhere.

Tow:

F650 SuperCrewzer
Because real diesels should be painted yellow.

Road Trip:

Bentley Continental GT
I like the idea of "big and German" but I prefer something a little more comfy, so instead I'll take "Big and German with a British flair"

The Daily:

2012 Taurus SHO - modified slightly
Why choose such a car to spend most of my time in? Simple. I need something that can fit things. It looks sleek while being large at the same time. It has the power to surprise. All of the tech goodies I could want or need to be using while driving. It'll eat up the miles in style and grace while not causing me to be bored. It'll be comfy. Of all the cars I've ever owned, the SHOs I've owned all hold special places for me. One deserves to be in my garage again....soon. But it needs a little tweaking.

nah, I think I'll keep her.
her first car was a Laser turbo  and she grew up driving twisty mountain roads.

Tow car/Camping vehicle/Winter beater; V10 TDI, modified to run on Biofuel.

Image

Roadtrip/Cruiser: Alfa 159 wagon, all options, Diesel, manual.

Image

Classic: Lancia Fulvia; since the Alfa GTA was already mentioned. Excellent taste, you get +1 internets for that choice. Lightly modded, for Auto-x/weekend twisty duty.

Image

Wife's Daily: 500 Abarth

Image

My Daily: Fiesta ST, when they finally announce it. And, even if it's a 5-door. I'd rather have it, than nothing at all.

i know huh. it gives me those....."when i make my first million" thoughts.

RIIIIght, like that'll ever happen.

Daily- My car, just needs a little love and it's good to go for another ten years.
