Okay, with THOUSANDS of different cars available to buy, there has to be at least one that logic tells you that you shouldn't buy or want, and general concensus is that it's a bad buy, but for some reason you like it and could see yourself driving it.

So, what's your guilty pleasure? Which car would you drive even if you got ridiculed for it?

My guilty pleasure?

The Kia Spectra 5:

One of the few vehicles I like the look of from every angle. Clean lines and sporty for a 5 door. Every time I see one on the road I imagine myself driving one and how I would modify it.

So, how about you?

Jason, I'd have to agree with you on the Spectra5...I had the opportunity to drive one, an automatic albeit, but never-the-less it was still fairly peppy and is utilitarian like the ZX5's are.

The other would be a New Beetle 1.8t. I would use that for a sound quality comp. car. Former boss's wife had one...the first comp. they went to after installing the current system in it they lost by a 1/2 point to the first place car (the car is well designed for an sq install and theirs sounds phenomenal).

I'd have to say mine would be a 92-95 Civic EX coupe. My buddy has a 93 DX sedan that we just did the D16Z6 swap in, and its pretty freaking fun to drive. I found this one on Cardomain, its pretty much exactly like how I would make mine, color and all. Rediculously clean and simple...

Oh c'mon, you don't wanna scare the crap out of the Honda's when you come FLYING up behind them and they see the Crown Vic headlights??

Mercury Marauder. Everyone told me I was stupid for wanting a "police car," but I have always thought the lines of the Crown Vic/Marauder were so menacing...

Am I alone?
I m with you on the marauder, if I could afford one. I love the supercoupes though, i've always had a thing for ford's big rwd cars. found this pic on cardomain. wouldnt mind having this parked next to my mustang and svtf.

My dad had a 95 T-bird V8 back when I was in high school. My Jeep broke and he let me drive that for a couple months. That ended when the HS principal called my dad and told him that if he saw be do one more burnout in front of the school, I would have my driving priveliges revoked.

I would say another Focus. I thought that when I got rid if it and bought the Z that would be the answers to all of my prayers...but I find myself missing my Focus. :( So i've been REALLY considering getting one...even if that means getting rid of the Z.

The new civic Si or a Lincoln LS. I could never drive a civic in front of other people but that is a good looking car. The LS is a beautiful car and I would love to roll around in one of those.

that's a good one, only problem is, you can't get a loaded one anymore with a manual transmission. :thumbdown You could a few years ago, but not anymore.
I would get a used one then....lol.

Understandable, but it isn't a guilty pleasure unless it has say... a 1.5L four-banger under the hood as your engine of choice.
Agreed.

I dream of having a car like that. I dont walk around it in the parking lot hoping that no one sees me get in it and drive off. I would run up to it with bells on making sure everyone saw me get in.

LOL
